In the third quarter of 2024, the art and design category in the United Arab Emirates witnessed notable trends across the top five applications on the unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $34.4K in early July and peaking at around $43K by the end of September. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend, beginning with 11.9K and reaching a high of 19.5K. The app also maintained a robust user base, with active users rising from 158K to 186K.

AI Hug Video Maker - Livensa experienced a significant spike in both revenue and downloads in mid-August, with weekly revenue jumping to $4.3K and downloads reaching 4.6K. Active user numbers also surged to 3.8K during this period before stabilizing in September.

ImagineArt: AI Image Generator showed a varied performance, with weekly revenue hovering between $200 and $500. Downloads peaked at 3.6K in early August, while active users fluctuated, reaching up to 11.5K in early September.

Sora - AI Video Generator demonstrated gradual growth. Revenue increased from $62 to $482 by the end of the quarter. Download numbers rose steadily, peaking at 263 in mid-August, and active users reached a high of 252 around the same time.

Photoleap: Photo Editor/AI Art showed stable performance with revenue consistently ranging from $1K to $2K. Downloads remained relatively steady, with a slight increase towards the end of September to 633. Active users fluctuated between 7.5K and 8.9K throughout the quarter.
